Camping in Arctic Circle with No Tent (-26 Degrees)
Arctic Circle
The Arctic Circle, Alaska, marks the southern boundary of the Arctic region at 66°33′ North. Located along the remote Dalton Highway, it’s a stark and windswept landscape of tundra, low hills, and permafrost. Here, the sun doesn’t set for weeks in summer or rise for weeks in winter, creating a surreal rhythm of light and dark in one of the wildest, most isolated parts of the state.
